Sepam Awarded MEP Contract on New Doha International Airport
Sepam Qatar has been awarded a MEP Contract by CDC-Takenanaka Joint Venture on Contract Package 19 at New Doha International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
The contract includes all MEP works for the multi-storey car parks and Mosque, includes the full design, coordination and installation of Fire Fighting systems, HVAC, plumbing, storm drainage, lighting and power on a full EPC basis. The contract extends to total commissioning and handover of all systems.
The award is a significant achievement for the Sepam Qatar team and continues Sepam’s growing experience on infrastructure projects including Terminal 5 Heathrow, UK.
NDIA (New Doha International Airport) Project
New Doha International Airport is a $13bn project to build a Greenfield airport to accommodate 50 million passengers a year. It is currently one of the largest construction projects in the world with an overall manpower level of over 20,000.
